Dear Parents, Carers and Visitors,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Wouldham All Saints Church of England Primary School. As I begin my fourth year as Headteacher, I am incredibly proud of how our school has continued to grow and develop, while remaining firmly rooted in our Christian vision and values.
Over the past three years, outcomes for our children have improved significantly year on year. This reflects the dedication of our staff and children and, importantly, our high aspirations for every pupil. We want every child at Wouldham to achieve well, to be challenged and to develop the confidence and ambition to fulfil their potential.
Alongside academic achievement sits our equally strong commitment to nurture the whole child. Guided by our vision and the Fruits of the Spirit, we strive to create a school where every child belongs, is valued and is supported to grow and flourish.
We are also committed to continually developing our understanding of how this generation of children learns best. We believe that high academic expectations and joyful, purposeful learning should go hand in hand. Our children learn through active, hands-on experiences, with opportunities to explore, investigate, create, collaborate and apply their learning in meaningful ways. Play and purposeful interaction remain important throughout primary education, helping children to strengthen their communication, relationships, independence and social skills, alongside developing strong academic foundations.
Ultimately, our ambition is simple: for children to enjoy coming to school, love learning, achieve highly and develop into confident, compassionate and capable young people.
We know that children thrive when school and home work together, and I am grateful for the continued support of our families, Governors, PTA and wider community. Whether you are an existing family or joining us for the first time, I warmly welcome you to our school community and look forward to another exciting and successful year together.
